Dining & Kitchen

Dining sets, dining tables and kitchen storage for Indian homes. A four-seater set suits a couple or a small family and fits most apartment dining areas; a six-seater gives room for guests. Wooden tops feel warm and are easy to live with; sintered stone and marble-look tops resist heat and stains. Kitchen cabinets add closed storage where the counter runs out. Each listing gives the seats, the top and the size, so you can plan the space around it.

Choosing a dining set

Seats, the top, and the space around the table.

Four seater or six seater?

Count the people who eat together every day, then add one or two for guests. A four-seater usually needs a space about 2.4m by 2.4m including chairs pulled out; a six-seater needs more length.

Wood or stone top?

Wood is warm and repairable; use mats for hot dishes. Sintered stone resists heat, scratches and stains and suits busy kitchens.

How much space around the table?

Leave about 75–90cm behind each chair so people can sit down and walk past.
