Payment and EMI
How payment works, when EMI or an offer applies, and what we do when a transaction does not complete cleanly. Last updated 24 September 2026.
1 Prices, currency and order confirmation
Furniva accepts payment in Indian rupees (INR). Product prices include applicable taxes, and delivery is free to serviceable pincodes. The final amount payable, including any accepted discount or optional charge, is shown before you authorise payment.
Orders are prepaid. Cash on delivery and partial cash on delivery are not currently available. Payment is requested at checkout, but an order is confirmed only after the payment is successfully recorded and an order number is issued. Furniva sends successful-order confirmation by email and WhatsApp using the contact details provided for the order.
2 Payment methods and security
Online payments are processed through Razorpay and Razorpay Magic Checkout. Depending on the options available for the transaction, checkout may offer UPI, credit or debit cards, net banking, wallets, Pay Later, card EMI, debit-card EMI, cardless EMI or another supported method. A method shown for one customer, bank or order may not be available for another.
You may also ask Furniva to help place an order by WhatsApp or phone. An assisted order remains prepaid and is completed through a secure checkout or payment route; it is confirmed only when payment is recorded and an order number is issued.
Payment credentials are entered in the payment provider's secure flow. Furniva does not receive or store your complete card number, CVV, UPI PIN, banking password or payment OTP. Furniva will never ask you to share any of them.
3 EMI and no-cost EMI
Standard EMI or no-cost EMI applies only when that option is displayed at checkout for the specific bank, card, order and offer. No-cost EMI may be offered for limited periods or selected cards and is not promised on every order.
Before you approve payment, the checkout or issuing bank shows the available tenure, monthly amount, interest treatment and any bank or provider charge. Those terms are set by the relevant bank or provider. If an EMI purchase is cancelled or refunded, the refund is sent to the original payment method; conversion, closure, interest, processing fees and statement adjustments remain subject to the issuer's rules.
4 Coupons, bank offers and cashback
Using a Furniva coupon does not itself create a payment-processing fee. Each coupon or Furniva offer applies only for its stated dates, products, minimum order value and other conditions, and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
A bank, wallet or payment-provider offer or cashback is governed by that provider's eligibility rules and fulfilment timeline. Furniva does not promise a bank discount, cashback or no-cost EMI unless it is shown for the transaction or expressly confirmed in the offer terms.
5 Pending, failed or duplicate payments
A failed, pending or interrupted attempt is not treated as a confirmed order unless payment is successfully recorded and an order number is issued. A bank or payment provider may occasionally debit or authorise an amount before the final status reaches Furniva.
If money is debited but you do not receive a confirmed order, do not immediately pay again. Contact Furniva with the payer name, amount, approximate time and available transaction reference. We will investigate and respond within three to five business days after receiving the required information.
A failed or uncaptured amount may be reversed automatically by the bank or payment provider. If an extra or late-authorised payment is captured but is not required for the order, Furniva will initiate a refund of that extra amount to the original payment method after verification. The provider or bank may require additional time for the reversal or refund to appear.
6 Customer-requested cancellations
For a customer-requested cancellation of a ready-stock item before dispatch, Furniva may deduct only the actual, non-recoverable payment-gateway or commerce-platform transaction costs and applicable taxes incurred on that payment. The deduction is itemised and will not exceed 5% of the amount paid for the cancelled item. If no such non-recoverable cost was incurred, nothing is deducted.
For a made-to-order item, the cancellation charge is 20% before production begins or 50% after production begins but before dispatch. That charge is the total cancellation deduction and is not increased by a separate payment-processing deduction. Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled after dispatch.
If Furniva cancels an order because it cannot be fulfilled, including because of unavailability or an obvious pricing error, the full amount is refunded without a payment-processing deduction. No such deduction applies to an approved remedy for damage, defect, a wrong item or another failure attributable to Furniva or its service partners.
7 Refunds
An approved refund is initiated to the original payment method within five business days after its prerequisite is complete: cancellation approved and fulfilment stopped, a returned shipment received and verified, or a collection and assessment finished. Any permitted deduction is explained and itemised before the refund is initiated.
Approval, initiation and the credit appearing are separate stages. A normal Razorpay refund generally takes a further five to seven business days to appear after initiation, depending on the payment method and bank. We cannot promise the date on which a bank posts it. If a processed refund does not appear within the provider's stated period, contact Furniva so we can share or trace the available refund reference.
8 Payment help and disputes
For a payment question, contact Furniva first with the order number or transaction details so we can check the gateway record. Nothing in this policy removes any chargeback or payment-dispute right available through your bank, card network, payment provider or applicable law.
Never send Furniva a CVV, UPI PIN, banking password or payment OTP. If someone claiming to represent Furniva asks for one, do not provide it and report the request to us.
